Herman’s lawyers might be busy with the many destruction of property and potential manslaughter charges as a result of that explosion.
Welp, there goes the neighbourhood.
And probably Eddie’s evidence…
Nah, Eddie’s evidence is fine.
We have seen exactly one on-panel example of Paul’s supposed perfidy. But, two strips back, Alasdair admitted that he was stealing the phone. And they found it because Eddie was attempting to make himself look good by planting stuff on him.
So, yeah, Eddie’s evidence is fine. But the chance it means what he thinks it does, and isn’t just going to bring to light his own misdeeds, is negligible.
Except that Alasdair just admitted to stealing it.
… Yes, that’s exactly what I said.
And if you think that boom was big, just wait until the propane ignites!
In a dark and gritty turn, Herman is horribly mangled and dies of his injuries … or more likely, he emerges from the smoke unharmed except for soot on his face whilst a sad trombone plays.
I think a lot more is at stake than evidence. That many cans of propane going “Boom!”? That’s one way to kill off a character or two. Anyways what happened to his retarded son? I’m surprised he hasn’t popped up yet.
Aaaand now the series title makes sense.
Comic’s over people.
Say that to Penny, I dare you.
I’m just saying, propane explodes outward rather than up, and there’s quite a lot of it gathered up in one place there next to the initial single exploding tank. We can reasonably expect to see all the walls of this huge megamart/walmart/superstore whatever it is blown right out, and additional damage to nearby buildings, most of their parking lot’s cars destroyed or severely damaged at the outskirts. With the walls blown out, whatever’s left of the roof would come crashing down, and we’re left with a rubble and corpse-strewn crater where once was a mega-store. The building would be entirely destroyed, need to be blulldozed and rebuilt from the foundation up.
The idea of people surviving that is pretty unlikely unless they’re outside and fairly distant.
None of that takes cartoon-logic into account of course, but I thought it was enough ground to make my “the comic is over” joke. 😛
I think it’s just gettting better. There’s some foreshadowing going on that intrigues me. The “fourth wall” angle is really getting played very well in the series so I really doubt the comic is over.
Calm your tits, people. Comic’s not ending.
I don’t know if I should be flattered or insulted that you replied to my post rather than that of the naysayers, Alex. :p
(P.S. Drop me a line. I want to bring up an issue that isn’t appropriate for here but you may have been concerned about based on past strip comments).
