They have just as much right to be proud of that as any other sexuality.
Really, being proud of one’s sexuality makes no sense since you have nothing to do with it, you’re born that way. Being proud of being able to be yourself, express yourself and be open to a world which stigmatizes or outright hates you however requires a whole hell of a lot of courage. You can be HAPPY that you fit the norm and have more advantages than others, but proud makes no sense.
