So Paul is so damned doctrinaire that he won’t listen to Eddie’s side of the story?
Nice guy… NOT!
And yet, he’s still 1000 times more likable than Thurman!
Fairly accurate, though. Too many low level functionaries in businesses are taught to not think and mindlessly follow the script. I didn’t last long in phone customer support because I threw the script in the trash and actually listened to what the person on the other end of the line was saying. Even got a major chewing out because I gave someone who paid their bills on time for a full decade a whole extra seven days to pay the most recent month because it wasn’t in the policy. Paul has probably just been gutted by this attitude.
Well protocol would include asking the customer what the problem was and trying to help him…. so he should know the story already unless the customer lied
Hmmm, asshole.
“I can’t believe I’m asking this, but…what’s it worth to you to reduce the complaint to ‘public defecation’ so I only get one write-up?”
Also, lol @”PAINTING.” Figures Bull’seye would be too cheap to buy actual paintings for their managers’ offices.
Best Painting ever!
“If you excuse me, I’m going to go bang my head against my locker until I can’t feel empathy anymore.”
Wow. I would not want him as a boss. Instant write up without getting Eddie’s side of the story? He knows Eddie just works stock and is not in customer service. Why would Paul write him up for that when it’s not even in his job description to assist customers?
